First Aid Support

First Aid support will be provided by Red Cross Australia. Two mobile First Aid teams will be on course at all times - stationed at Road Ride Central in Dunnstown. There will also be an additional team on standby at the start / finish line to provide assistance.

Road Ride Central

At Dunnstown we are establishing Road Ride Central. This will include first aid, transport, a mechanic, food and drink. This location is ideal as we can make contact and access most parts of the course within 10 minutes.

Mobile Mechanic

On course mechanical support is provided by the SRAM Neutral Ride Support program. This features the same premier Australian race mechanics that provide the SRAM Neutral Race Support at some of Australia's leading cycling races. You will be given the ProTour treatment and receive mobile tech support. So whether you puncture, break a chain or generally need your gears tweaked you can guarantee you will be in fantastic hands.  Riders with specialised bikes are encouraged to carry their own spares.

Food and Drinks

Water, banana's and lollies will be provided at all Aid Stations.  Riders are also encouraged to carry their own sports drinks if required. Milk bars and stores are located at Buninyong, Mt Egerton, Gordon and Dunnstownn.

Aid Stations will be located at:

1 -
2 -
3 -

At the conclusion of your ride, we encourage you to enjoy the festivities of the event.  A variety of Food and Drink stalls will be available at the start / finish line.

Cut-off time

The course will be serviced by support staff from 8.30am until 1.00pm.  For the safety of cyclists and volunteers a cut-off time will be imposed at Dunnstown at 1pm. Cyclists should consider this cut-off time and their cycling fitness levels when entering The Classic. Cyclists who arrive at Dunnstown after 1.00pm will be able to continue along the course but there will not be marshals after this time.
