Organise your own fundraiser

Each year, energetic and committed Australians organise events and participate in challenges in order to raise funds for a cause close to their heart; Cancer. Most of them are motivated by their own personal experience of Cancer and want to do something positive to raise awareness and vital funds for research. We are incredibly grateful for all the support we have received and are consistently humbled by people's passion, enthusiasm and generosity.

Do you want to take action and support a worthy cause by hosting your own event to raise funds for the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute?

No matter how big or small your fundraising idea, we truly appreciate your efforts. Fundraising can be an incredibly rewarding experience, particularly when your efforts are focussed on supporting a cause that you are passionate about.

You can choose to either hold your event privately or promote your event on our website, with your unique webpage to send to your friends and others who can make a donation, attributed to your fundraising event!

Due to limited resources, Institute employees are not able to assist with event logistics or PR/marketing for each individual event; however, we value your support and will strive to meet all information requests to make your event a great success.

If you prefer to submit details of your fundraiser event manually, download the Fundraising Guidelines, complete the form section and send back to us.

A few things to note…

  1. All fundraising activities must be approved and authorised in writing by the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute.
  2. Once your fundraising idea has been accepted, you will receive an authorisation letter from the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute advising you to go ahead with your fundraiser.
  3. You cannot hold your fundraiser until you have received this authorisation.
  4. Payment must be received within 30 days of the conclusion of your fundraiser, unless otherwise agreed.
  5. HAVE FUN!!!
